#YLSBEAUTYHOTEL The Immersive pop-up

Fashion week has been evolving just like the entire fashion industry.

What used to be Fashion Night out - one night of outfits and chaos, has now evolved into a week long celebration of fashion.

In unique spaces through NYC, luxury brands are taking over and curating everything: from who gets the invites, what the Instagram-able moment is, to the best ways to show off their brand.

YSL is one brand that did not disappoint and approached Fashion week and their popup in a true to brand way.

Creating the YSL Beauty Hotel in Soho, the 3 floors and roof top were an incredible experience. This townhouse had you “check in” on the first floor and then take you on a voyage each to social interactive moments.

The Best room in my opinion was #WALKTHELINE where the indoor pool had a glass runway built over it. A huge LED was positioned against the back wall showing cool images of the YSL beauty products / Photographs by Kenneth Willardt for Harper's Bazar in conjunction with beauty brand director Tom Peacheu were screened.

Encouraged I walked the line and then emailed me self the little video that captured my runway moment.

The next floor is #feelthecall? All about the campaign for black opium fragrance. it contained a bed with a guitar that you could pay and preserve the moment with by sending the picture to your phone.

The top floor was axis to the roof and the beautiful line of ROUGE PUR COUTURE GOLD in the gold cassandre logo lip stick in matt, and the square slim lip stick designed by the beauty director Tom Pecheux.

Also you could purchase the black opium that has notes of vanilla, coffee, and white flower. Totally a beautiful scent and an incredible experience for YSL.
